We are working on our house a little bit. I never really did like the wallpaper on the walls, so it has been removed in 4 rooms and the walls are in the process of being painted. Stinks! I like the color the kids chose for the rooms. The living room is two shades of a soothing and refreshing green. North south walls are a slightly different shade than east west walls which makes a nice effect. The kitchen is a cheery yellow and the area above the cabinets is a happy yellow orange. One of the bathrooms is now a robin's egg blue, so pretty, with an ocean theme. It's a work in progress.---------------- All carpets have been removed to reveal the original hardwood floors. They are a wonderful cherry wood tone. ------------------- The house has been power washed, the shed in the back that was getting a bit rusty has been painted. Dead bushes have been removed and new ones planted. And there are the roses and flowers! I love roses and other flowers. Ben has a real knack for making living things grow. He got the talent I don't have, a gift for nurturing plants. It is a gift. -------------The house is still a work in progress, but it is looking good.
