BUGS!
As I was walking on the nature trail, a little girl of about 4 screamed, "EEEE, EEEE, BUG, BUG!" I think she was in the wrong place for her personality type. I guess nobody told her that bugs live outside.
I sympathize with the child. Bugs don't thrill me very much either. Neither do snakes, thorns, poison weeds or many other things. In this world, we have to put up with many yucky things. The key is to keep it in perspective and not to panic.
As we grow older, "bugs" come in the form of things and people that upset and annoy us. We can take care of most "bugs" by avoiding their habitats. We can avoid most people who annoy us, crowds, places we don't like, jobs we hate, and so forth, but not always. Sometimes we just have to do the best we can in putting up with them and coping. Screaming doesn't help and it tends to annoy the "bugs" making them more likely to bite or attack.
I'm not really going anywhere with this, just thought it was cute. On the other hand, it might be good to consider, before bugging someone, whether or not they are inclined to bite.
